When I think about reading and writing, I think about how talented my sisters are.
While growing up, it was always my other sisters that excelled at reading and writing.
Until 10th grade when I had a teacher that believed in me.
She told me I was a great writer and that in time I will improve.
A company that published poems, selected mine to be printed.
Little by little I got excited about writing and reading.
Reading is a way into another world.
Writing is a way to create another world.
Both are necessary and important.
